it was the first time I got an exposure about fashion and designing and thanks to my teacher i was able to picture out what fashion designing would look like and also being able to learn all sort of sewing skills . something different and interesting . she was so far the best , passionate and loving teacher i’ve met .

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. D Sew Club is a lovely studio, and Kalpana is one of the best teachers I've had. She is knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive of her students' work. I've gone from zero drafting and sewing skills, to sewing a perfectly fitted blouse in just a few sessions. It is always a pleasure attending classes here. Kalpana is a talented fashion designer who is genuinely interested in her students' happiness and success. Whether you are a newbie like me, or looking to hone your skills - D Sew Club is where you will shine!

I especially enjoyed how Kalpana explains about measurement taking and all the bodice blocks methods she taught, from the most simple bodice to the most detailed one. Dart manipulation and pattern drafting was covered as well, which I found to be very helpful and pretty comprehensive. I can’t wait to make my own patterns now!

Ms Kalpana has been a very dedicated teacher. She goes thoroughly in her course every stage of construction and shares her best practices in every procedure. Her course is highly recommended for aspiring fashion designers, craft enthusiastics, bored housewives or if you simply want to learn a new skill.

I’m a fashion college dropout, one of reasons I couldn’t continue was that I could never understand patterns, lecturers did not spend enough time explaining the concepts and that effected my basics very much. This course although not professionally recorded has excellent content in terms of understanding the basics of patterns. I feel so much confident making patterns after this short and affordable course!
